Project: Femtosecond Temporally Coherent Supercontinuum Fiber Laser for Multi-Photon Microscopy Acronym: FEMTOCOLORS Proposal: 739697
The mail goal of this project is the recruitment of a postdoctoral researcher from other countries (not Spain) to explore an innovation business idea: the development of a Femtosecond (Fs) Temporally Coherent Supercontinuum (SC) Fiber Laser for Multi-Photon Microscopy (MPM). FYLA LASER S.L. has recruit a highly qualified specialist in photonics, that is not available in the Spanish job market, but whose knowledge has been crucial to open up opportunities for innovation and significant growth for the enterprise.

Project: Development and market of a GHz-rate fibre laser frequency comb for elastic optical networks Acronym: LASERCOMB Proposal: 826882
The main objective of the project is the development and market uptake of a fibre laser frequency comb (LASERCOMB) that will enable the new communication paradigm based on EONs and Super-Channels.

“Femtosecond Coherent Supercontinuum Fiber Laser Tool for Superresolution Microscopy”
 El objetivo principal de esta ayuda es la preparación de propuestas para la participación de FYLA en la convocatoria FAST TRACK TO INNOVATION PILOT. El proyecto ha contado con la ayuda de IVACE dentro del programa PREPARACIÓN DE PROPUESTAS PARA CONVOCATORIAS H2020 con una subvención de 7.085€, con financiación del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER), en un porcentaje del 50 %, a través del Programa Operativo FEDER de la Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020.

“Láser de fibra óptica supercontinuo de femtosegundos y conformado espectral programable”
 El objetivo principal de este proyecto es desarrollar un equipo integrado de iluminación láser para equipos de microscopía biológica-clínica de super-resolución. El sistema estará basado en un nuevo láser de fibra óptica de supercontinuo (o láser de luz blanca), cuyo régimen de emisión pulsada mantendrá la coherencia temporal entre sus componentes espectrales, permitiendo así obtener anchuras temporales de pulso tan bajas como 10 fs. El sistema contará a su vez con un módulo de conformación espectral, que permitirá programar las propiedades de emisión proporcionada por el láser para su aplicación óptima en técnicas de microscopía no lineal de alta resolución, tales como Microscopía por fluorescencia resuelta en tiempo (Fluorescent Lifetime Imaging Microscopy – FLIM) y microscopía multifotón (Multi-Photon Microscopy (MPM)).
 El proyecto ha contado con la ayuda de IVACE dentro del programa PROYECTOS DE I+D DE PYME con una ayuda en forma de subvención de 42.026,25€, con financiación del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER), en un porcentaje del 50 %, a través del Programa Operativo FEDER de la Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020.

“Ultrafast Fiber Laser Combs for New Generation Communications Systems”
El objeto principal de este proyecto es la preparación de propuestas para la participación de FYLA en la convocatoria H2020-SME INSTRUMENT-2016-2017. El proyecto ha contado con la ayuda de IVACE dentro del programa PREPARACIÓN DE PROPUESTAS A H2020 (HORIZONTE-CV) con una ayuda en forma de subvención de 3.750€, con financiación del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER), en un porcentaje del 50%, a través del Programa Operativo FEDER de la Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020.

FACILITIES

 

As a company, FYLA is the only one in the south of Europe, and one of the few in the world, able to produce and control the supply and manufacturing of the 100% of the components and technologies required for the production of our Lasers, from the Supercontinuum Lasers ,which requires the production of our proprietary PCF’s, to pulsed lasers in the range of pico and femto seconds which will be available in the coming year, with a ground breaking
generation technology.
All our components and Lasers are produced and assembled in Europe, within our 10.000 m2 of production facilities, allowing us to fulfil the more exigent demands in quality and volumes, becoming a new and strong player within the Fiber Laser Sector, and specially in Supercontinuum lasers, which is our first portfolio reference.
